How Usage Billing Works
Usage is charged through prepaid credits that you add to your account. SMS, MMS, phone call usage is deducted from your credit balance at the rates shown above. Subscribers to Feature Add-ons or Complete Bundle automatically receive the discounted rates. Data Center subscribers using these services without additional subscriptions pay standard rates.

FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions
- What is the cheapest way to start using Vottiv?
- A Data Center subscription, which starts at $50 per month. It gives you your district's voter file and the tools to build voter groups from it, and it is the base every other feature runs on.
- What determines my price?
- The number of voters in your district and the state you are running in. Larger districts pay more in total but less per voter, because the per-voter rate falls as the district grows.
- Should I buy the Complete Bundle or individual add-ons?
- Add-ons start at $50 per month per tool and suit campaigns using one or two channels. The Complete Bundle starts at $900 one time for the full election cycle and includes every voter contact tool, which is usually cheaper for a campaign running several channels.
- Can I pay monthly instead of one time?
- Yes. A monthly Voter Contact Package is available. Spreading the cost over the cycle costs at least 15% more in total than the one-time price.
- What do messages and calls cost on top of a subscription?
- Usage is billed separately. With a Voter Contact Package, texts are 3.5¢, MMS is 6¢ and calls are 5¢ per minute. At standard rates those are 4.5¢, 7¢ and 6¢ per minute. A 4×6 postcard is 87¢, including printing and postage.
- Is a campaign website included?
- Yes. A campaign website is included in both Voter Contact Package prices. On its own it is $29 per month.
